Often lighting is ignored but it is at least half of what is needed to see better. Magnification without proper lighting is worthless and proper lighting without proper magnification is worthless. the two go hand-in-hand and are dependent on one another. One of the best lights I have seen lately is the 17 watt screw-in LED bulb from Home Depot or Lowes. they work great and have beautiful white light output with low power consumption. They are somewhat expensive but I think you will agree, they are great to read under. Try one and let me know what you think.
