Bioptic Telescopic Glasses provide the person with the benefits of a telescopic system while still maintaining mobility. Mounted high in the carrier lens, the telescope is "out of the way" while the patient is moving about or doing general work, but it is always available for distance viewing. These have many uses, especially when watching TV, enjoying sporting events, better vision for walking, driving a golf cart and driving when the person already meets the minimum requirements of the Department of Motor 7 7 (DMV). Almost any typical eyeglass prescription may be easily incorporated including bifocals! When used outdoors the lenses may be made in Transitions (lenses that darken when outdoors) or any other tint.
